Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

This journal implements a Double-Blind Peer Review policy. This means that the identities of both the authors and the reviewers are kept anonymous throughout the review process to ensure objectivity and scientific quality.

Review Workflow:

  1. Manuscript Submission: Authors submit their manuscripts through the online submission system in accordance with the Author Guidelines and the journal template.

  2. Initial Evaluation (Desk Review): The Editor performs an initial screening of the manuscript regarding:

    • Alignment with the Focus and Scope.

    • Plagiarism check (using Turnitin or Ithenticate).

    • Adherence to the writing guidelines and template.

    • Outcome: If the manuscript does not meet these basic requirements, it will be rejected or returned to the author for correction before proceeding to the review stage.

  3. Peer Review: Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to at least two reviewers who are experts in the relevant field of education. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on substance, methodology, novelty, and scientific contribution.

  4. Editorial Decision: Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editor will make one of the following final decisions:

    • Accepted: The manuscript is accepted without changes.

    • Minor Revision: The manuscript requires small improvements based on suggestions.

    • Major Revision: The manuscript requires fundamental changes and may undergo a second round of review.

    • Rejected: The manuscript is rejected due to quality issues or fundamental misalignment.

  5. Author Revision: Authors are given a specific timeframe to revise the manuscript based on the reviewers' feedback and must provide a Revision Note or a response letter.

  6. Final Decision & Production: Once the revised manuscript is officially accepted, it proceeds to the Copyediting and Layout (Galley) stages before being published online.
