Repository and Self-Archiving Policy

Repository and Self-Archiving Policy

HAPDIS (Harmoni Pendidikan, Islam dan Sains) supports authors in sharing and disseminating their research. To ensure transparency and maximize the impact of the published research, we allow authors to deposit all versions of their manuscripts in institutional or subject-based repositories, subject to the following conditions:

1. Submitted Version (Pre-print)

  • Policy: Authors are permitted to deposit the original, submitted version of the manuscript (before peer review) on personal websites, preprint servers, or institutional repositories.

  • Condition: Authors must state that the manuscript has been submitted to HAPDIS. Once accepted, authors are encouraged to update the preprint with a link to the formally published article.

2. Accepted Manuscript (Post-print)

  • Policy: Authors may deposit the peer-reviewed, accepted version of their manuscript (before final publisher formatting/typesetting) in institutional or non-commercial subject repositories immediately upon acceptance.

  • Embargo: No embargo period is applied.

  • Condition: Must include a statement such as: "This is the accepted version of the following article, which has been accepted for publication in HAPDIS."

3. Published Version (Version of Record)

  • Policy: As HAPDIS is a fully Open Access journal published under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license, authors are strongly encouraged to deposit the final published PDF version (Version of Record) in any institutional repository, academic social network (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu), or personal website immediately after publication.

  • Embargo: Zero embargo (Immediate sharing).

  • Condition: Authors must appropriately cite the original publication in HAPDIS and include the official Digital Object Identifier (DOI) link.
