Archiving and Digital Preservation Policy

HAPDIS (Harmoni Pendidikan, Islam dan Sains) is committed to the long-term preservation of its digital content and ensuring that all published articles remain permanently accessible to the global academic community. To guarantee digital preservation, this journal utilizes standard archiving systems and third-party repositories.

1. Institutional and Global Archiving Systems We utilize the following preservation networks to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permit those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration:

  • PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN): HAPDIS utilizes the Public Knowledge Project Preservation Network to digitally preserve our OJS (Open Journal Systems) platform.

  • LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe): This journal is enabled with the LOCKSS system to ensure a secure and permanent archive.

  • CLOCKSS (Controlled Community Provider): The journal is also supported by the CLOCKSS system for distributed archiving.

2. National Digital Archiving (Indonesia) At the national level, the published content of HAPDIS is routinely ingested and permanently archived by the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia (Perpusnas) through the GARUDA (Garba Rujukan Digital) and Indonesia OneSearch (IOS) portals.

3. Author Self-Archiving Authors are also strongly encouraged to archive the final published version (Version of Record) of their articles in institutional repositories or personal academic networks. For more detailed information, please refer to our Repository Policy.
