Crossmark Policy

Crossmark Policy

Applying the Crossmark icon is a commitment by HAPDIS (Harmoni Pendidikan, Islam dan Sains) to maintain the content published and alert readers to changes if and when they occur.

What is Crossmark? Crossmark is a multi-publisher initiative from Crossref to provide a standard way for readers to locate the current version of a piece of content. Recognizing the importance of the integrity and completeness of the scholarly record to researchers and librarians, HAPDIS has integrated the Crossmark indicator on all of its published articles.

How Does It Work? By clicking on the Crossmark logo embedded in our PDF or HTML articles, readers will be able to see the current status of a document (e.g., whether it is the most up-to-date version, or if it has been corrected, updated, or retracted). The Crossmark dialog box may also provide additional publication metadata, such as funding information, ORCID IDs of the authors, and links to peer-review reports if available.

Our Commitment to the Scholarly Record HAPDIS recognizes that research is a dynamic process and errors can occasionally occur. We are committed to maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record. If a significant error is found that affects the scientific integrity of a published article, we will publish a correction (Erratum/Corrigendum) or, in severe cases, a Retraction, in accordance with the guidelines set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

All updates or changes made to an article will be immediately reflected through the Crossmark system.

For more detailed information regarding how we handle updates to published articles, please refer to our Correction and Retraction Policy.
