Archiving Policy

The Journal of Elementary Education and Learning Science (JEELS) is committed to the long-term preservation of its digital content. To ensure that all published articles are permanently archived and accessible, JEELS utilizes the following archiving systems:

  1. LOCKSS and CLOCKSS: JEELS utilizes the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) systems through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries. This allows these libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.

  2. PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN): This journal is digitally preserved through the PKP Preservation Network, which provides a long-term archiving solution for OJS journals that are not part of any other digital preservation program.

  3. Institutional Repository: Authors are encouraged to deposit the version of record (published PDF) in their institutional repositories or other reputable repositories to ensure multiple copies of the work exist.

This comprehensive archiving strategy ensures that the research published in JEELS remains available to the global academic community in perpetuity.
